The mission of the Mathematics Department is to provide high quality, forward-looking instruction at all levels, to encourage and develop the mathematical skills and talents of our students, to provide an understanding of the logical structure and style of mathematics, and to help develop quantitative and abstract reasoning and the ability to use mathematics as a computational and analytical tool.
