Head Coach Jeff Holloway is in his third year coaching and teaching at Riverwood. Coach Holloway has been coaching for over 13 years and has coached girls basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, golf and track. Coach Holloway is from Hamilton, Alabama and is married to Vicki. They have three children, Cody, Casey, and Carly. In high school, Coach Holloway played football, baseball, basketball, and track all four years. He also played baseball in college for four years. He graduated from the University of North Alabama with a BS in Education and in Accounting. He also received a Masters of Educational Leadership and Administration. Coach Holloway teaches Interrelated Resources at Riverwood and is the Athletic Director. He served in the Armed Forces for five years and is a Desert Storm Veteran.
Assistant Varsity Coach Karen Bove is in her eleventh year as an Assistant Coach for the Girls Varisty Basketball team. Coach Bove has been coaching women's basketball for over 24 years. She started her coaching career in 1985 as the JV Coach at Bishop Hoban High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was the Head Varsity Coach at Wyoming Seminary High School and at Crestwood High School in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. She also coached one year at Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Coach Bove also coaches 10 year-olds for one week each summer at the University of Tennessee. At the University of Tennessee, she participates in "chalk talk" with girls basketball coaching legend, Pat Summit. Coach Bove is from Berwick, Pennsylvania. She was a four year Varsity starter at Wilkes College in basketball and softball; she was also the captain of both teams her junior and senior years. At Wilkes College, Coach Bove was named Female Athlete of the Year, received the Senior Athlete Award, and was named to the First Team All MAC in fast pitch softball. In softball, she finished 10th in the Nation in RBI's in Division III. Several notables for Coach Bove include being inducted into Berwick High School Hall of Fame in 1996 and into Wilkes University Hall of Fame in 1999. The 1997 Wilkes Softball Team was also inducted into the Hall of Fame for being the first Wilkes Women's team to win the MAC conference and make the post season playoffs in NCAA Division III.
Assistant Coach Latasha Conner joins the Riverwood Coaching staff for the 2009-2010 year. Coach Conner ran Cross Country, Track and played Basketball at North Chicago Community High School. In high school, she was named the North Chicago Community High School Female Athlete of the year, was named Senior Athlete of the Year, was a four-time member of the All North Suburban Conference and All Regional Teams, and was a member of the 1,000 point club. Coach Conner continued her basketball success at Trinity International University where she was just the twelfth member of the 1,000 point club, was a NCCAA All-American Scholar-Athlete both her Junior and Senior years, and was named to the CCAC Honorable Mention and the NCCAA North-Central All-Region Teams. Coach Conner has coached both high school and middle school girls, as well as serving as a head coach for the AAU Joy of the Game Travel Team for three years.
Assistant Coach Jessika Johnson begins her high school coaching career with the Raiders in the 2009-2010 season. Coach Johnson played basketball at Riverdale High School and at Western Carolina University. At Western Carolina, Coach Johnson was a member of the Catamounts two-time Southern Conference Championship basketball team and she was on the track team as a high jumper for all four years.

Assistant Coach Lori Koser joined the Riverwood faculty in 2009 as Broadcast and Video Production teacher and has an extensive coaching background. She will also coach the Girls Lacrosse team. A native Georgian, Coach Koser was both a Varsity Football Cheerleader and a Basketball player for West Rome High School. She was point guard on the region championship women’s basketball team at Toccoa Falls College and graduated with a double major in Education and Broadcasting. Coach Koser earned a D license for coaching soccer through Georgia Youth Soccer Association, has coached soccer for more than ten years, and is coaching the fall 2009 Hall County Georgia Mountain Stars U-13 and U-15 select teams. She and her husband Mark have three children who all play competitive soccer: Josh (Flowery Branch High School class of 2010), Katy (Riverwood class of 2013) and Briana (high school class of 2015).
