Parent Information Meeting, Tuesday, September 28, 6-8pm.  Any student interested in swimming or diving this season must have at least one parent attend the information meeting in the school cafeteria.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS TEAM for placing 11th in State!
  • Swimming Raiders swam “AFAP” (As Fast As Possible) at the State Meet. Swimmers posted personal best times during both days of competition.

  • Five relay school records were broken and two individual event school records were broken.
  • Girls 200 Medley Relay – 1:58.28 (McDaniel, Tye, Bona, Fisher)
  • Boys 200 Medley Relay – 1:44.22 (Crosby, Young, Kaplan, Jones)
  • Boys 200 Free Relay – 1:31.93 (Michalak, Young, Jones, Morgan)
  • Girls 400 Free Relay – 3:52.38 (McDaniel, Bona, Lowe, Fisher)
  • Boys 400 Free Relay – 3:22.27 (Michalak, Crosby, Kennedy, Morgan)
  • Senior, Bret McDaniel broke her school record from last year in the 100 Backstroke 1:03.61
  • Junior, Gia Lomsadze broke the school record in the 100 Breaststroke 1:05.19

Congratulations to Senior, Patrick Morgan breaking his own school record in the 50 Free during the Metro meet 22.73

Coach Pamela Wall

PamelaWallSwimCoach Pamela Redmond Wall is a 40 year veteran of the classroom having taught English, reading, ESOL, and SAT prep in Chatham, Cherokee and Fulton counties. While at Riverwood for 26 years she served as drama coach, Interact sponsor, department chair, business manager for athletics, LSAC member, editor of the school newsletter, mentor to new teachers, and liaison faculty member to FCBOE. As a member of several  curriculum committees she authored the courses for study skills, drama, SAT prep, ninth and eleventh grade literature, and all the sheltered English classes for ESOL.  Currently she serves on the Cancer Surivors' Network Executive Board at Saint Joseph's Hospital and tutors privately.
