Riverwood's Social Studies department prepares students to take their place as citizens in both a democratic society and a culturally diverse world. As the heart of the Global Studies Magnet Program, students draw knowledge from across the fields of history, economics, and political science to develop their own understanding of what it means to become a citizen at the local, state, national and ultimately global level.
