Athletic Association - RAA

The Riverwood Athletic Association is the school’s only athletic booster club and provides support for all sports programs.  The Athletic Association’s primary purpose is to raise money for athletic programs at Riverwood.  The Athletic Association is the financial backbone for athletic programs at Riverwood – the school receives no funding for athletics from the Fulton County Board of Education.

You can support Riverwood athletics in several different ways – joining the Athletic Association, purchasing an ad in the athletic sports program, volunteering in the concession stand or purchasing spirit items.

A special thanks to all of our Athletic Association members for helping to provide a strong athletic program that allows our students to grow, face challenges and succeed!

Band & Orchestra Boosters - BOB

The Riverwood Band & Orchester Booster supports and encourages the development of the school's music program through our service, advocacy and financial support.

Our goal is to nurture the continued development of music by providing whatever support is necessary. We welcome anyone to join us who feels strongly that music is a vital component of secondary education. Your support, in any form, is welcome: service, advocacy or financial.

Parent Teacher Student Association - PTSA

One of the things that makes Riverwood such a special place for both students and families is the involvement and support of its parents. Your talents and assistance are important to the success of the school. Please take this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA).

We believe that member involvement is a key element to the success of Riverwood.  We welcome and encourage all parents to become members and volunteers. Remember, under the school's charter, it is required for all families to join PTSA.

We appreciate your support of our PTSA and the many booster organizations designed to support and enhance your family's high school experience.

Performing Arts Booster Association - PABA

The Performing Arts Booster Association is a group of parents, teachers, friends and students working together to support the chorus and drama performing arts at Riverwood. Through the Booster Association, we are able to supplement funds for needs in the music and drama departments that are not covered with the basic funding from Fulton County.

Membership Dues and other fundraisers enable us to provide music, scripts, sets, costumes, lights, sound, and other important items.  PABA also funds guest instructors, judges, and costs associated with competitions, special concerts and events.  In addition, PABA will be conducting a campaign during the 2009-2010 school year to fund a commissioned choral score, new risers, and renovated dressing rooms.

Riverwood Foundation

The Riverwood Foundation is committed to the academic enrichment of the entire school community.  Its focus is to enhance technology and innovation at Riverwood by: 1) supporting curriculum programs; 2) strengthening the school’s culture; and 3) impacting students’ global experience.

As a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, the Foundation develops partnerships in the business, international, civic and educational communities, providing funds and resources for school initiatives and programs.  Additionally, the Foundation raises money through individual donors, alumni, annual giving campaigns, and corporate and foundation grants.

Since it’s inception in 2005, the Riverwood Foundation has approved funding in excess of $300,000.  We thank our many parent and community donors for their generosity as we assist the school in achieving and maintaining academic excellence.
